We have four different pathways to consider which can be combined with A Level and Vocational qualifications.

 Basketball Academy 

Students will take Basketball and three subjects either GCE and or Vocational subjects.

Football Academy

LNS has teamed up with Volenti Academy. Students will take Football and three subjects either GCE and or Vocational subjects.

Maritime Pathways

Maritime Studies and three subjects either GCE and or Vocational subjects.

LNS  GCE subjects / BTECs 

Students will take three subjects either GCE and or Vocational subjects.

You will be asked to have a pathway straight away but you can change this if you want to at any time.  If you are unsure, you will have opportunity to talk about this at the interview.

Over subscription

In the event of there being more applicants achieving the entry qualifications than the number of places available for a particular subject, then the following criteria will apply after the admission of pupils with Statements of Special Educational

Needs where the School is named on the Statement:

  • Mean GCSE points score including Math’s, English and Science. Short course scores and vocational course scores will not be considered. Applicants with the highest mean GCSE score will be given priority.

  • Date of receipt of application. Earlier applications will be given priority.

Appeals

Parents will have the right of appeal to an independent Appeal Panel if they are dissatisfied with an admission decision of the School.
