The London Nautical School aims to produce confident, articulate, well rounded individuals and the extensive extra-curricular programme is central to achieving this.
Much effort is invested in providing students with the widest range of opportunities to enable each to fulfil every aspect of his potential. All students are encouraged to take full advantage of the many and varied activities available to them with numerous opportunities to be involved representing the school or their watch in the interwatch system.
Academic clubs and societies flourish and there are numerous trips, both locally and internationally to cater for all interests. The Nautical Department provides watersport activities and the school partakes in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. All staff are committed to maintaining and improving opportunities for our students and many of the positive relationships between the two are fostered through shared interests outside the classroom.
At the London Nautical School, we are keen to support our students in all aspects of their development and extra-curricular clubs play an important part in this. Our aim is for every student in the school to attend at least one extra-curricular club throughout the year.
